Akwaaba e.V. on Amboss Audio Podcast "Region der Lebensretter"

The Amboss Audio Podcast is a platform specializing in exploring exciting topics and initiatives from the medical world. Here, not only are current medical issues discussed, but remarkable projects that improve healthcare are also showcased.

A special highlight of the podcast is the Amboss Award, which is annually awarded to non-profit projects that have a positive impact on patient care. With a prize of 3,000 euros, the award honors initiatives that promote evidence-based actions, improve error culture, or advance continuing education. The main focus is on projects that sustainably change medical and nursing practice and strengthen teamwork.

Akwaaba e.V. applied for this year's Amboss Award to highlight our work in improving healthcare in Ghana. Unfortunately, we did not win the award, but the podcast editorial team took notice of us and gave us the opportunity to report on our projects and goals in a 10-minute segment. We are especially grateful for this chance, as we are the only organization to have had the opportunity to present itself in this context despite not winning the award.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Amboss team

We would like to officially and sincerely thank the entire Amboss team. By generously providing us with this platform, you have given us the opportunity to present our vision and work to a wide audience. It is not a given that you granted us this special opportunity, and we deeply appreciate it. Thank you for your support and trust in our mission!

The recording took place on October 22nd and was broadcast on December 1st. Starting from minute 39, we had the opportunity to present our project. We hope many of you will listen to the episode. We will share more details and the link to the episode after its release in this post and on our social media. Feel free to tune in!
