We are excited to inform you about an exciting collaboration with the Medimeisterschaften, one of the largest events for medical students in Germany! After numerous discussions, especially with those responsible for charitable organizations, we have officially received confirmation that Akwaaba e.V. will be included in the Medimeisterschaften support program.

The Medimeisterschaften, commonly known as "Medis," is a sports festival where German-speaking medical, dental, and veterinary students from across Europe gather. Participants include students from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Latvia, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, and France.

Currently, the Medimeisterschaften already support several charitable organizations across Germany, and starting in 2025, Akwaaba e.V. will be added to the pool of supported organizations. The sum distributed among the participating charities at the end of the event could make a significant contribution to our projects.

How does it work?

The Medimeisterschaften offer us various opportunities to get involved as an organization and receive valuable support. A team of 6 volunteers from Akwaaba e.V. will have the chance to actively help on-site, such as assisting with setup and organization.

Especially exciting:

We have the opportunity to run a booth at the event or even give a presentation to showcase our work and gain more supporters.

Collecting bottles during the event also plays a crucial role. The number of volunteers and the bottles collected contribute to the distribution of the total sum among the participating organizations. The best part: Volunteers do not necessarily have to be medical students or members of the organization – every helping hand is warmly welcomed!
