First Delivery of Donated Materials Successfully Handed Over!

The donated medical equipment and supplies, which arrived in Africa with the first shipment at the end of 2024, were successfully handed over to the Kasoa Polyclinic!

On January 16, 2025, the moment finally arrived – Jessica arrived in Ghana to personally oversee the handover of the donated equipment. Together with our local partner, Wayers GmbH, we transported the equipment from the warehouse in Weija to the Kasoa Polyclinic. There, we were already welcomed by the medical professionals and the clinic management, who were thrilled with the valuable support.

A special moment of gratitude

During the handover, we were able to witness firsthand the immense joy and relief of the clinic staff. The defibrillator, incubator, and ventilator are a tremendous asset to the clinic and will save many lives in the future. The doctors and nurses expressed their deep gratitude for this support and emphasized how urgently this equipment is needed to improve patient care.

Jessica also had the opportunity to speak with the clinic’s management about further needs and potential future support. We were especially moved by the conversation with Henry, a nurse, who shared how much these new devices would ease the work of the team.

Insights into the handover – impressions on-site

Thanks to our team, we were able to capture some touching moments of the handover. The pictures not only show the joy of the clinic staff but also the great dedication of everyone involved in making this project possible.

What’s next?

In addition to the Kasoa Polyclinic, we visited other clinics in the region to determine which medical equipment is most urgently needed. Our goal remains to organize targeted donations to equip more facilities with essential supplies. By addressing the specific needs of each clinic, we aim to make a significant impact on healthcare services in the region.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this project possible with their dedication, donations, and time! Your support has been invaluable, and together we are making a real difference in improving healthcare in Ghana.

Thank you very much for your support!
