Am 6. Dezember hatten wir die großartige Gelegenheit, im Rahmen der Weihnachtsfeier der Fachschaft Medizin der Universität Oldenburg Spenden für unseren Verein Akwaaba zu sammeln. Neben dem Glühweinverkauf wurde eine Spendenbox aufgestellt, in die die Besucher*innen freiwillig etwas geben konnten.

On December 6th, as part of the Christmas celebration at the Sports and Health Center, where about 200 patients were expected, we had the opportunity to present ourselves and our work. Our initiator Jessica gave a short but impressive presentation about the work of Akwaaba e.V. and introduced the projects we are implementing in Ghana.

On September 20th and 21st, an exciting networking event for young doctors took place in Cloppenburg, bringing together many medical students and young doctors from the region. Through a general practice internship in Cloppenburg, Jessica made contact with the district and had the opportunity to participate in this event.
